Booking, Payment, and Scheduling Policies

The most important scheduling and payment details grouped together for quick review.

Booking & Appointment Changes

Intake and consent: New clients may be asked to complete a brief health history/intake form and consent or waiver before service. This helps make sure the session is appropriate, safe, and tailored to the client's goals.

Booking window: Appointments should be booked at least 24 hours in advance whenever possible. If you are within the 24-hour window, you may text directly to ask about availability.

Rescheduling or canceling in-home appointments: Please use the phone number on this site to call or text for in-home appointment changes. Email is not used for in-home cancellations or rescheduling.

In-home appointments: A booking fee applies to in-home appointments. If an in-home appointment is canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, that booking fee may not be refunded.

Back to Baseline location: The in-home booking-fee policy does not apply to clients seen at Back to Baseline.

Back to Baseline booking: Clients scheduling Ironshell Mobility services at Back to Baseline for Tuesday evening or Thursday daytime appointments must use the Back to Baseline booking link. Mobile/in-home Ironshell Mobility services are scheduled separately by calling or texting directly.

Back to Baseline cancellations or rescheduling: Clients at Back to Baseline may cancel or reschedule through the Back to Baseline booking site. If there are any issues, clients may also call or text for help.

Payment Methods

Accepted payment: Cash or credit/debit card.

Insurance: Ironshell Mobility services are self-pay wellness services and are not billable to insurance.

When payment is collected: In-home clients may be asked to pay a booking fee during scheduling. Back to Baseline clients pay at the end of service.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions new clients may have before scheduling.

Who are sessions for?

Sessions are designed for athletes, active adults, older adults, and clients who want to improve comfort, flexibility, recovery, and movement quality.

What happens during the first appointment?

Your first appointment is booked as a First Visit 60-minute stretch session, with a movement screening followed by a full-body stretch for the remainder of the session.

Do I need equipment?

No special equipment is required. In most cases, comfortable clothing and a clear space are all that is needed.

Can sessions be adapted for limited mobility?

Yes. When appropriate for a client's condition and comfort, sessions may be adapted for individuals with limited mobility or extended time in bed.

How do payments work?

In-home sessions may include a booking fee during scheduling. Back to Baseline sessions are paid at the end of service.

What if weather is severe?

If severe weather or a natural disaster affects safety or travel, cancellation fees do not apply. During major snow events, operations will most likely be closed for safety.
