How Your First Session Works

A clear first appointment helps the session feel comfortable, organized, and tailored to your goals from the start.

01

Movement Screen

We start with your goals, comfort level, and basic movement so the session is guided by what your body actually needs.

02

Full-Body Stretch

The remaining time is used for a tailored full-body assisted stretch performed within your comfort level.

03

Next-Step Recommendation

You leave with clear next steps and a better idea of what session type may fit best going forward.

Session Types

The Main Ways We Work

Services are intentionally simple: one option focuses on assisted stretching, and the other pairs stretching with mobility, stability, breathing, and movement-pattern practice.

Assisted Stretching

Best for clients who want guided mobility work to reduce tightness, improve flexibility, and move more comfortably day to day.

Stretch + Mobility/Stability

Best for clients who want assisted stretching paired with wellness-focused mobility drills, stability work, breathing, and movement-pattern practice to help mobility carry over better.

Your Session, Your Time

Every Visit Can Be Shaped Around Your Preferences

Session time is meant to serve you. After the first-visit screening, appointments can be adjusted around what you want to focus on that day, whether that is a specific tight area, full-body stretching, breathing work, mobility/stability practice, or simply feeling better before getting back to your normal routine.

Comfort level, goals, activity demands, and personal preferences are always part of how the session is guided.

Stretch Methods

Assisted Stretching Methods Used in Session

Stretching style is selected based on your goals, comfort, mobility limitations, and how your body responds during the visit.

Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF)

PNF combines assisted stretching with controlled muscle activation, making it useful when flexibility and body control both matter.

Static Assisted Stretching

Static assisted stretching gives the body time to settle into a controlled position and may support flexibility and reduced tension.

Mostly Passive Assisted Stretching

Passive assisted stretching allows the client to relax while the stretch is guided, making it useful for restorative, lower-intensity mobility work.

Dynamic Stretch Instruction

Dynamic stretching helps prepare the body for movement and gives clients tools they can use before activity.

Why These Methods Work Together

Mobility tends to carry over better when flexibility, stability, breathing, and control are addressed together.

Tailored to the Individual

All stretching is assisted and selected for the individual, rather than forcing range of motion for its own sake.

For a deeper explanation of the evidence behind these methods, visit the Science / Evidence-Based Information page.

What Assisted Stretching Can Look Like

Assisted stretching sessions are guided one-on-one and adapted to the individual, whether the goal is improving comfort, mobility, movement quality, or general flexibility.

Sessions can be adjusted for different ages, activity levels, and mobility needs. The focus is always on controlled, professional movement that matches the client's comfort level and goals.

DNS-Informed Principles

Breathing, Stability, and Better Movement Control

DNS stands for Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization. In these sessions, it is used as a movement principle to support breathing, joint position, posture, and controlled movement patterns.

That may look like simple breathing-focused cues, controlled positions, and light movement practice such as reaching, stepping, rotating, hinging, or transitions. The goal is not high-intensity training, but helping mobility gains carry over into better everyday movement.

DNS-informed work is used for wellness and movement support, not as medical treatment or a guaranteed outcome. For more detail, visit the Science / Evidence-Based Information page.

What to Expect

What Your Visit Looks Like

A simple, structured experience designed to make first-time and returning appointments feel clear and comfortable.
